Mom in Japan

In late April or in early May my mother will finally visit Japan for the first time. I am hopefully expecting that she will stay here for a good long time, so for the past three months I have been strenuously using my brain to come up with some places for us to visit during her time in Japan. I have already covered about five pages in my notebook with plans. Yes mom, as you can see from the page in the photo below, my handwriting is still as messy as it was five years ago when I wrote you my last letter. Relax everyone out there! Since 1999 I have sent her many emails! We will go to Kyoto, maybe Kyushu, and of course all the famous landmarks in and around Tokyo. I want to take her to many unusual places as well, such as a "theme "restaurant or the world's largest karaoke place. ( Attention students! Karaoke is an english word! Note that the word is pronounced differently in english. The first part of the word has the same pronounciation as the last name of that ill fated senator John KERRY. You remember him right?) Yes she will try her luck at pachinko. I am planning to extensively film her adventures in Japan with my camcorder. I want to put together something besides your typical run of the mill home video. Anyway, if anyone out there has any good ideas about what we should visit, please let me know.
