The big fat guy here is a very famous Sumo superstar. For some obscure reason the city of Nagoya sponsored a Hawaii event complete with marching bands and zillions of Japanese dressed up as fake Hawaiians. One of the few real Hawaiians there was Konishiki- the uber-famous Sumo superstar. Even though he retired from the world of Sumo a good long time ago (around 8 years ago), he still remains on the rather heavy side. I have absolutely no idea why they had these weird futuristic vehicles in this Hawaii parade.
