This restaurant was a real revelation. The Satay was not grilled. We boiled the Satay ourselves at our table. The boiling mixture in the pot contained tons of grounds peanuts, curry ,chilli powder and five or six secret ingredients. The waitress frequently came by to add ingredients to the pot (she especially added a lot of ground peanuts). Boy was it good! They also served pieces of bread and cucumber that tasted heavenly after they were dipped in the boiling satay mixture. One stick only cost about 15 cents! I think a restaurant like this would really fly in the US. The only thing you would have to worry about would be a group of approximately 3,455 lawyers who would sue you on the behalf of patrons/cooks who managed to injure themselves while cooking.
