There are about 300 steps up to the Batu Caves. It is the mother of all stairway walks! They have graciously numbered each step so you can know how much progress you have made. In January they have a giant Hindu festival here. Over a million Hindus come to the caves. As you can see in the photo of the newspaper articles, many people show their faith by sticking all kinds of sharp objects all over their bodies.......This event has been banned in India.........
