It was a miracle that I could take these photos from the observation deck of the Umeda Sky Building. After surviving the ride up one of the building's two terror escalators( If there are escalators in hell, they are just like the two escalators at the top of the Umeda Sky Building.) I walked around in a daze of dread and foreboding- I was obsessed with thoughts of my return trip down the other terror escalator....Finally I was able to go down the escalator by sitting down on it, by looking up at the sky during the whole journey, and by turning my mind to the happy thoughts of what I would do with all the money I would get after I successfully sued the editors of "Lonely Planet."
