Down the river you can see the famous Ebisu Bridge. They built a very high fence on both sides of this bridge to discourage Hanshin Tigers (ie. an Osakan baseball team) fans from jumping off the bridge whenever their team had a victory. Don't ask me why they have this strong desire to dive off this particular bridge (or any other bridge for that matter...) when their favorite baseball team has a good day...People in this city do some strange, bizarre things. I think there are somethings that happen in Osaka that will never be explained.( For example- Why do informed people seemingly in their right minds willingly visit the observation deck of the Umeda Sky Building?)
