The Bloggster in The National Theater ( Tokyo).
Don't ask me how I did it, but somehow I managed to get this "Official Photographer arm band" that allowed me to take the following photos in the National Theater in Tokyo. I was careful to take the photos from an isolated location so as not to bother anyone in the audience. Of course I could not use my flash. This created a problem because I had not brought my tripod. I had to balance my camera on the arm rest of a seat. This was not easy to do........There is an interesting thing about traditional dance in Japan;( This was not Noh theater or Kabuki.) whenever a star appears on the stage for the first time ,someone from the audience will call out his name in a very stylized manner. It reminded me of the "jaleo" in a flamenco concert in Andalucia.
