The Strange Case of the Homicidal Comic Book Hurler.

Strange things do not only happen in the USA. Recently in the building where I live , surreal notices have popped up in the elevators and in the halls. It seems that last week someone threw two comic books from an undetermined floor of the 25 story building that I call home. The two books were thrown at different times and almost struck 2 people who were walking next to an ear- like sculpture that is near one of the building's entrances. As you can see in the photo above, a fence has been erected around the"ears sculpture" and a sign has been set up warning people not to approach the location. The mysterious flying books were comic books written for children , so the police suspect that the unknown hurler is a kid (or rather a real heavy duty brat). I must confess that whenever I leave my home I almost always look up furtively and subconsciously prepare myself to dodge any oncoming "Manga missiles". (Manga is the Japanese word for comic book.) That is all I need now- to be maimed or murdered by fast moving bad literature. Maybe I should get myself a helmet..... Posted by Picasa
